Each year Hindmarsh Shire Council develops an annual budget, and we want to hear from our community what the priorities for our 2026/2027 Annual Budget should be.
Council money comes in from rates, fees and charges, and state and federal government grants. The money is spent on providing services, maintaining our assets, and where grants are available, upgrading or building new facilities for our community.
Like all Victorian Councils, Hindmarsh Shire Council is facing unavoidable rising costs across many areas from construction materials to fuel, waste management and insurance.
