Council offers exciting volunteering opportunities across Hindmarsh Shire in a number of areas. Whether you're eager to help support community service programs or share your local knowledge with tourists, we would love to have you on board!

All volunteers must consent to a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and some roles may require a drivers license. 

Visitor Information Centre - Nhill

Share your local knowledge and travel tips with tourists, people passing through and curious locals by volunteering your time once a month at our Visitor Information Centre in Nhill.

Meals on Wheels Delivery

We are always looking for people to support our Meals on Wheels delivery program in Nhill, Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow. We welcome both individuals and organisations to volunteer.

Volunteer Taxi Drivers - Nhill

Are you 18 years or older and hold a current drivers license? We are seeking community taxi drivers to assist elderly residents in Nhill get to important appointments.
