Rae Keam Awards 2022 Published on 20 December 2022 Every year, Hindmarsh Shire Council presents the Rae Keam scholarship and award to a year 12 student at each of the Shire’s Secondary Colleges (Nhill, Rainbow & Dimboola). The award provides a monetary award of $500 each.Rae Keam was Shire Engineer for the Shire of Dimboola from 1955-1979. He was born and raised locally and was well respected in his role with Council. Hindmarsh Swimming Pools Published on 15 December 2022 Whilst the weather hasn’t really been conducive to swimming, we know the community is disappointed with the way our 22/23 pool season has commenced.Despite efforts from Council and the YMCA to have the pools ready and open by the end of November – we have faced a number of challenges from recruiting lifeguards through to the accessing the experts and parts needed to keep the pools running.
