The first service in Jeparit was held at the Hindmarsh Homestead in March 1891. It took nearly ten years to get a regular place of worship but the substantial brick church that was finally erected lasted for nearly 110 years.

A Vicarage was built at the rear of the block in 1893 prior to the construction of the church. George J. Allpass and other ministers were then able to serve the Anglican congregation in Jeparit until the church was built. Mr Allpass was a Stipendary Lay Reader and was recompensed £25 ($50) per annum. It was consecrated during its first service by the 2nd Bishop of Ballarat, the Right Reverend Arthur V. Green, on the 16th April 1902.

Unfortunately the church needed to be demolished due to severe structural defects in December 2008.
